October was food drive month at Elephant Insurance. Coordinated by Team Finance the Elephant Herd organized a food drive for the Central Virginia Food Bank. A “canstruction” competition was held in the office during the food drive. Judging was based on volume of food donation and creativity. This was easily won by the combined efforts of IT, Pricing, & Team Finance with a rendering of Angkor Wat, the 12th century Cambodian temple. Elephant employees delivered the donation to the Central Virginia Food Bank (www.cvfb.org) on November 9. We are extremely proud that we were able to donate 721lbs. Next year we aim to break this total!
