• Elephant has been tracking the path of Hurricane Irene. Once the path indicated an impact on the US East Coast, we implemented our Catastrophe Response Plan. You can rest assured that Elephant will be there for you to help get any damages repaired as quickly as possible.
• If you have an email address, we encourage you to provide Elephant with your email address as an alternative means of communication during the claims process. This will allow Elephant to keep you informed of the progress of your claim and repairs.
Once your claim is reported to Elephant, it will be assigned to a specially trained Claims Associate. You can expect this representative to contact you within 24 hours after you report your claim.
• Your Claims Associate will guide you through the claims process and explain all options as well as set time-bound expectations throughout your claims process.
• Please note that based on the unpredictability of spikes in volume during a catastrophic event, callers may experience delays and wait times during this event. Elephant will take all necessary action to mitigate such delays and will continually manage the situation and volume resulting from this event. Elephant is well prepared to handle the large claim volume expected.
• Keep in mind that during significant weather events, Repair Facilities, Towing Facilities, Rental Car Facilities and other businesses involved in the claims process may also be suffering consequences from the storm and usual service levels may be impacted. Please remain patient and assured that Elephant will work hard to make your claim a priority.
